#Help Typhoon Yolanda Victims

As most (if not all, come on! It's all over the news and the internet) of you might know, Tropical Typhoon Yolanda / Haiyan hit the Visayas badly on November 8, Friday. And now, five days later, we are still left with the apocalyptic episode in Visayas. After seeing the before and after state of Tacloban, it stirred so much emotion in our heart. So many lives have been lost (current count is over 2,500 people but is expected to reach 10k when everyone's been found) and more will be added to that number if we don't act now. We at CDOSocial appeal to your hearts, O people of CDO, to give, to help, to pray for the people in Visayas. There are still areas that haven't been reached by both the Government and NGOs.

We're honestly sick of going on our social media accounts and seeing people post hateful things about our country, against each other's religion and even the victims who have nothing to do with the stress in your life. Stop judging others because you dont see them outwardly expressing sympathies and helping the victims! They are not entitled to explain anything to you and you don't have the right to judge them. Don't blame God and stop asking God why, stop telling people why. God is God and if you really want God to do something about it, stop yammering and tell Him, PRAY!

The pressing question is not why but how! How can we help?

Meanwhile, together with our family, we might be going to Tacloban and neighboring areas on the first week of December. We will be bringing goods directly to affected families (including some of our extended family, as we just found out). We've also contacted some of our relatives abroad and urged them to help us out. We'll keep you posted. And yes, school's not out but classes be crumpled together and tossed to the piranhas, we'll help those who need us. They were there when we needed them, why shouldn't we be there for them too?

Also, we found this what to donate guide from Rappler that you might find useful :D
